Spring Festival Overture was created by renowned composer Li Huanzhi in the 1950s. With the Spring Festival as its theme, the bright, beautiful melody and clear, passionate rhythm vividly depict the jubilation of the Spring Festival.
The concert "Echoes of Ancient Tang Poems" was jointly performed by iSING! Suzhou and the Philadelphia Orchestra, which premiered in Philadelphia on Jan 6 and was held in New York on Jan 7. Fifteen singers from 10 countries led by Liao Guomin, a conductor from Macau, interpreted newly composed songs based on well-known poems from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
